About Master CVV

The revered MASTER of this NEW YOGA was born at precisely 10:20 A.M. on the auspicious date of 4th August 1868, in House No. 64, East Dabir Street, located on the banks of the sacred Kaveri River, within the holy city of Kumbakonam, Tanjore District, Southern India. He hailed from a distinguished Telugu Niyogi Brahmin lineage that had migrated from the Andhra region during the 14th or 15th century. He was named C.V. Venkasami Rao, with the full name being Canchupaty Venkatarao Venkasami Rao. To us, he is none other than the gracious and revered Master.
Master C.V.V. received his early education in Kumbakonam and later pursued his secondary studies in Srirangam. Even as a youth, his intellect was vast and unparalleled. By his teenage years, he had attained mastery over the ancient scriptures and philosophies. His proficiency extended not only to these sacred texts but also to the fields of astronomy, astrology, and scientific thought. The explanations he provided in the context of this yoga serve as a testament to his immense erudition and expansive knowledge.
The Master’s teachings provide a vivid and scientifically precise understanding of the metaphysical planes. His clear elucidation of the concept of the ABSOLUTE BRAHMAN, the boundless source of all creation, and the unfolding of the mysteries of cosmic creation through ANU (the primordial energy), reflect his profound spiritual insight and practical experience.
As Brahman incarnate, the Master descended onto the physical plane with a singular purpose: the upliftment of humanity. Even the Divine, to manifest substantial work, must take a physical form. The physical body, Master taught, holds paramount importance among all planes of existence, as it is through this body that the divine mission is carried out.
